Over 125 children and their grownups attended our events for The Great Playdate on March 30th! We started off the day making awesome and creative sock puppets, then we were treated to an amazingly silly family puppet show performed by the talented Steve Petra, and we finished off the day with a session of Drop-In Free Play. It was a true celebration of the importance of play and fun in early childhood!

The children at the Riverhead Free Library were able to explore the colorful world of Eric Carle through dramatic play, sensory bins, and hands-on crafts.
